In June of 2002, I created the "Abuse Disclosure Project" web site because there was no information on the Internet about the abusive monks in Collegeville. 

In October of 2002, I was named to the External Review Board at St. John's Abbey.

Even though I was named to the board, in part, because of my work on the site, other members of the Board felt that the site could be considered a conflict of interest. In order to keep the peace, and with the early promise of greater disclosure, I took down the site.

The site has been relaunched as "Behind the Pine Curtain". It is my hope that the information available on this site will help to educate - and to heal.

I understand that the information of the site will upset some people. I heard from proud alumni the first time around, and expect to hear from them again. Please keep in mind that there are dozens of victims who will find this site useful.
