PAUL, Minn. (KNSI) &#8211; A lawsuit settlement was expected to be announced Monday in the case of nine alleged victims of sexual abuse by clergy with Collegeville&#8217;s St. John&#8217;s Prep School, St. John&#8217;s Abbey and the Order of St. Benedict.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Attorney Jeff Anderson said a Monday news conference would announce a &#8220;significant settlement of lawsuits&#8221; filed against the Roman Catholic order as well as 11 clergy defendants.<\/p>\n<p>The settlement was expected to include several &#8220;non-monetary child protection issues&#8221; as well as revealing the names of &#8220;previously undisclosed predator priests.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!-- The settlement involves 10 monks or priests who taught at St. John's Preparatory School or were assigned to parishes. He declined to disclose a dollar amount.\n\nAnderson said the settlement requires St. John's to send a letter to anyone who attended the prep school, disclosing the names of offenders against minors.  The settlement also frees all sex abuse victims to talk publicly, Anderson said.
