Jim Phillips, a monk at St. John&#8217;s Abbey in Collegeville, Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.behindthepinecurtain.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/phillips_75_761.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.behindthepinecurtain.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/phillips_75_761.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"phillips_75_76\" width=\"263\" height=\"299\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1704\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In 2002, two former St. John\u2019s Prep School students brought claims of sexual abuse against Br. Phillips. St. John&#8217;s Abbey settled these claims (and possibly several others) against Br. Phillips &#8211; but never made Br. Phillips&#8217; name public. <\/p>\n<p>Br.
