Despite credible allegations of misconduct\u00a0—\u00a0and despite\u00a0Abbot John Klassen’s repeated claims of transparency\u00a0—\u00a0Father Donald Tauscher’s name has never been made public.<\/p>\n

Abbot\u00a0Timothy Kelly from Saint John’s Abbey in Collegeville, Minnesota (USA) reportedly settled with and silenced\u00a0at least one person who brought forward a complaint by a person\u00a0who had allegedly been sexually assaulted by Father Donald Tauscher, OSB.<\/p>\n

Father Tauscher’s parish\u00a0assignments include\u00a0Our Lady Queen of Heaven in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, and Saint Bartholomew’s in\u00a0Wayzata, Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Father Tauscher has previously been accused of sexual misconduct involving a female while he supervised a river rafting trip. An eyewitness to that alleged misconduct contacted this web site several years ago.<\/p>\n

Father Tauscher was reportedly sent from his assignment in Wayzata to the abbey’s satellite monastery and school (San Antonio Abad) in Humacao, Puerto Rico in approximately 1975, following reports of misconduct.<\/p>\n

Other pastoral assignments include two parishes in his native state of Wisconsin, one in Wayzata, Minnesota, and the chaplaincy of two Minnesota hospitals.
