(WJON) ST. CLOUD \u2014 A woman alleging she was abused by a Catholic priest at the Church of St. Joseph in the early 1960\u2019s has filed a lawsuit. Jane Doe 115 has filed suit against the St. Cloud Diocese, Order of St. Benedict and Church of St. Joseph.<\/p>\n
The woman is claiming multiple incidents of abuse at the hands of the late Father Othmar Hohmann between 1961-1966 when she was 11-16 years-old.
\nAttorney Mike Bryant says the lawsuit is to provide financial relief to the victim, get all of the files on accused priests released and to encourage other victims to come forward.<\/p>\n
Father Hohmann worked at churches in Stearns County, Crookston and Duluth. He died in 1980.<\/p>\n
The window for victims to come forward as part of the Child Victims\u2019 Act closes in May.<\/p>\n
