On or around March 8, 2024, this web site received a tip that included the following information:
“If you are still running the site, keep an eye in the news for [Teacher], up until two weeks ago she was a teacher of spanish at St.Johns Prep.”
Update (3/3/2026): A comparison of the Prep School’s web site (courtesy the “Wayback Machine“) from September 29, 2023, March 28, 2024 and September 19, 2025 shows that the number of Spanish teachers on the school’s staff went from two, to one, and back to two.
Background:
On March 28, 2024 in response to a SCSO Request for LE Data Form, we received a document [24011260 report.pdf] from Sheriff.Records@stearnscountymn.gov.
According to an incident report prepared by Deputy Jordan Ulbricht of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office [Case #24011260]:
“On 02/12/2024 at approximately 1600 hours, I was dispatched to a matter of information call at St. John’s Prep School, located at 2280 Water Tower Road in Collegeville. The caller requested a phone call and said there has been some inappropriate contact with a teacher and a student. The caller said staff started doing some of the investigation and had spoken with Human Services. They needed to report it to law enforcement.”
and:
“Throughout their investigation, they spoke with three adults and four students, who had the same general complaints and views. They all said [Teacher] and [Student] were constantly by each other and constantly touching each other.”
and:
“At one point in time, [Teacher] said [Student] is her “bodyguard” for the day. While [Student] was sitting in one of the chairs, [Teacher] was sitting on the arm rest and was constantly touching him. [Teacher] and [Teacher] left the group multiple times and at times were found on the roof alone. None of the reporting parties said they saw or heard anything sexual in nature, but suspected that is what was going on when they left the group.”
and:
“From the limited information I received, I did not believe there was any suspicion that there was currently any ongoing sexual abuse. I talked with Sergeant Adam Hoffman and explained what I was told. He said there is nothing else we needed to do further. He told me to complete a follow up request to the Criminal Investigation Division to see if this investigation will be conducted by patrol or the Criminal Investigation Division.”
Important: It is not known whether allegations of inappropriate contact led to the teacher’s dismissal or whether that decision was made by the teacher, administration and/or other parties.
Of concern/interest:
- The sheriff’s report curiously includes the words “currently” and “ongoing” in reference to “sexual abuse” even though the initial reports were characterized, by seven witnesses, as inappropriate touching in the past.
- The sheriff’s report appears to not reveal whether the teacher, co-workers or members of the school’s administration, including Head of School (Jon McGee) and Assistant Head of School (Dr. Christine Glomski), were interviewed.
- The report appears to not include any information regarding the employment status of the accused teacher.
If you have information regarding to this or any other matter concerning alleged misconduct, please contact law enforcement.
