In February of 1996, there was a recognizable increase in the number of Hispanics living and working in Cold Spring and surrounding area. After relationships with Hispanics began to form, Francisco Schulte OSB, Renee Domeier OSB, and others saw the need to work toward integration within the parish and community. In July of 1998, a mobile home was rented to serve as a central meeting place for members of these two cultures.
