2,000 Area Students On Campus in Collegeville

COLLEGEVILLE — About 2,000 students from Catholic schools throughout Central Minnesota are expected to attend a noon Mass on Wednesday officiated by St. Cloud Diocese Bishop Donald Kettler at the St. John the Baptist Abbey Church. The mass is part of Catholic Schools Week, a national celebration of Catholic education, and is hosted by St. John’s Preparatory School.

Students will attend from St. John’s Prep, St. Cloud Cathedral, All Saints Academy, Holy Family School in Albany, Sacred Heart School in Freeport, St. Boniface School in Cold Spring, St. Francis Xavier School in Sartell, St. John’s School in Foley, St. John’s/St. Andrew’s Schools of Meire Grove and Greenwald, and St. Mary’s School of Melrose.

Also on Wednesday, many of the visiting students will participate in tours of the St. John’s campus.
